She feel so grateful to have completed her 200-hour certification with Shayne Broadwell and Ryan Hader of Core Essence Yoga and her Yoga Therapy certification through Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT), as well as Blooma's Prenatal Teacher Training, Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Michelle Pietrzak-Wegner, Trauma-Informed Yoga Training with Firefly Yoga International, and Anatomy Training with Awaken Pilates and Northwestern Health Sciences University. She has completed her 800-hour Professional Yoga Therapist certification, accredited by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and is also a Certified Pelvic Floor Yoga™ Teacher with Leslie Howard Yoga.Īs a lifelong athlete, she brings athleticism to her invigorating classes, and emphasizes alignment, balance, strength and playfulness. Years later, working for AmeriCorps in Milwaukee, she reconnected again with yoga, diving in fully. She was always intrigued by the sense of calm and ease she felt in the presence of such a wise teacher. They attended weekly Hatha classes led by a local Swami.
